Just curious if there are any downsides to having the oil cooler routes like so (pan>oil pump>oil cooler>engine>pan) rather than the stock setup (pan>pump>cooler>pan). My thoughts would be that it would be better to have the cooled oil going through the motor rather than just recirculating into hot oil. Also, If I set it up this way (which I am inclinded to do becuase I do not have the stock oil restrictor) do I have to run ss lines or can I get by with rubber lines rated to high psi?
